Bali Medevac is an independent coordination and booking desk operated by Juara Holding Group (est. 2015) — not a hospital, ambulance operator, insurer, or air-medical carrier. These terms govern how we take a request, quote an evacuation route, and hand it to a licensed third-party operator, including what happens to deposits, cancellations, and standby fees once that operator confirms.
What is Bali Medevac and what do these terms cover?
Bali Medevac (balimedevac.com) is a coordination desk that connects travellers, villas, resorts, and yacht crews in Bali and its surrounding islands — Nusa Penida, the Gili Islands, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo — with licensed helicopter operators, air-ambulance providers, fast-boat services, ground ambulances, and hospitals. We arrange and coordinate; we do not fly aircraft, drive ambulances, or provide medical treatment ourselves.
These terms apply to anyone who contacts Bali Medevac through WhatsApp (+62 811-3941-4563), email (bd@juaraholding.com), or the website to request a quote, coordination, or standby plan. By sending a request, you accept the terms below. If any term conflicts with a licensed operator’s own contract, the operator’s contract governs the service they deliver.
| Term | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| “We,” “Bali Medevac,” “the desk” | Juara Holding Group’s coordination service, not a medical or aviation provider |
| “Operator” | A licensed hospital, air-ambulance company, helicopter charter, fast-boat, or ground-ambulance company we coordinate with |
| “Quote” | An indicative figure pending operator confirmation, never a locked price until accepted |
| “Standby plan” | A pre-arranged coordination pathway for a villa, resort, or yacht, subject to operator availability at the time of an actual incident |
What does Bali Medevac actually do — and not do?
We take your call or message, assess the route (island-to-Bali, or Bali-to-Singapore/Australia/Jakarta repatriation), and relay it to operators we work with. According to a 2024 academic review of Indonesian air medical evacuation, coordination for this kind of case normally runs through the airport health office (KKP), the destination hospital, and the insurer, under Decree of the Minister of Health No. 882/Menkes/SK/X/2009 and Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 14/2021. Bali Medevac sits alongside that chain as the booking and communication layer — we do not replace KKP, the hospital, or the insurer, and we do not issue medical clearances.
We do not:
- Own, operate, staff, or crew any aircraft, boat, or ambulance.
- Employ doctors, paramedics, or flight nurses.
- Guarantee that a helicopter, air-ambulance, or hospital bed will be available at the moment you call.
- Set or control the final price — the confirming operator does.
- Act as an insurer, financial adviser, or legal adviser.
How do quotes and confirmations work?
Every figure we send by WhatsApp or email — whether for a Gili-to-Bali helicopter lift, a Bali-to-Singapore fixed-wing repatriation, or a Labuan Bajo ground-and-boat combination — is indicative until the operator confirms crew, aircraft or vessel availability, and route clearance. Prices move with fuel, weather routing, and operator load, so a figure quoted on one day is not binding on a later day unless the operator has confirmed it in writing.
Two structural limits shape every quote:
- Indonesian aviation rules currently require helicopter operations to end at sunset. A request that reaches us after dark for an island case is coordinated as boat, ground transfer, or overnight stabilisation instead, not as a night helicopter flight.
- BPJS does not fund air-ambulance evacuation abroad, and most domestic insurance policies exclude foreign evacuation. If you are relying on insurance for a Bali-to-Singapore or Bali-to-Australia repatriation, confirm coverage with your insurer before we lock a booking — we can relay documentation but we cannot approve or guarantee a claim.
What happens with deposits, cancellations, and standby fees?
Deposit amounts, cancellation windows, and standby-activation charges are set by the confirming operator, not by Bali Medevac, and are disclosed to you at the point of booking — before you are asked to pay anything. As a rule of thumb:
| Situation | How it is typically handled |
|---|---|
| Operator requests a deposit to hold an aircraft or vessel | Deposit terms, refund window, and forfeiture rules come from the operator’s own booking terms, sent to you in writing before payment |
| You cancel after operator confirmation | Cancellation fees follow the operator’s schedule; Bali Medevac does not set or waive these |
| A standby plan is activated but the case resolves without transport | Standby-activation charges (if any) are the operator’s, disclosed in the standby agreement at setup |
| Operator cannot fulfil due to weather, curfew, or maintenance | We attempt to source an alternative operator; no fee is owed to Bali Medevac for a leg that was never delivered |
We do not process payments for medical or transport services on our own account. Funds for the evacuation itself move between you (or your insurer) and the operator, on the operator’s terms.
What are the limits on availability, timing, and outcome?
Bali Medevac makes no guarantee of aircraft, boat, ambulance, or hospital-bed availability, and no guarantee of a specific response or arrival time. Reported emergency response benchmarks — such as roughly 12-minute response in major Bali tourist zones, or the 5-7 hour window typically cited for arranging a full medical evacuation as of a Bali service update dated 18 June 2026 — are indicative planning figures, not commitments Bali Medevac makes for any individual case. Weather, aircraft maintenance, curfew rules, insurer processing time, and hospital bed availability at the receiving facility can all extend a timeline beyond any figure discussed before an incident.
We also make no guarantee of medical or transport outcome. The quality of care, transport safety, and clinical result are the responsibility of the licensed operator and treating hospital, governed by their own professional and regulatory obligations, not by Bali Medevac.
How do we handle your data?
When you message us on WhatsApp or email, we collect what you send — contact details, location, and relevant medical or incident information needed to coordinate a response — and share only what is necessary with the specific operator, hospital, or insurer involved in your case. We process this information under Indonesia’s Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP), which requires a lawful basis for processing, data-minimisation, and safeguards for health-related data as a sensitive category.
For visitors from the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with their own data-protection regimes, we handle requests with GDPR-aware practice: we retain evacuation-coordination records only as long as needed for the case and any legal or insurance follow-up, and we do not sell or use your medical information for marketing. You can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete records no longer needed for an active or recent case, by writing to bd@juaraholding.com.
What law governs these terms, and how are disputes handled?
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from a Bali Medevac coordination service that cannot be resolved directly is subject to the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts, without prejudice to any separate contract or arbitration clause you sign directly with an operator, hospital, or insurer for the underlying transport or treatment.
Figures, response benchmarks, and regulatory references in this document are indicative as of 2026 and subject to change; verify time-sensitive requirements — such as reported 2026 travel-insurance minimums or Rinjani trekking-insurance rules — directly with the relevant authority or your insurer before travel.
How do we update these terms, and how do you reach us?
We may update these terms as operator relationships, regulation, or our own scope of coordination changes. The version live on balimedevac.com at the time of your request applies to that request.
